About This Recipe:

IngredientsDirections

Ingredients

  • 8 each Fisher Boy® Battered Fish Fillets
  • 8 oz Cellentani Pasta or similar corkscrew pasta
  • 2 cups Broccoli Florets
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 3 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 3 tbsp All Purpose Flour
  • 1 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 1/2 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Directions

  1. Prepare the corkscrew pasta and fish fillets according to their package instructions.
  2. While the pasta and fish cook prepare the broccoli by tossing the florets in a small bowl with the olive oil. Add to a sheet tray and roast in the preheated oven until tender, approximately 8-10 minutes.
  3. In a small pot melt the butter over a medium setting just until foaming. Add the flour and whisk well to combine. Continue cooking for 1-2 minutes, without browning.
  4. Slowly whisk the milk into the butter mixture until combined and continue to cook for 3-5 minutes until the mixture has thickened to a sauce consistency. Add the cheese and whisk well off the heat.
  5. Stir the fully cooked and strained pasta along with the broccoli into the warm cheese sauce. Transfer to individual bowls or plates to serve. Cut or break the fully cooked fish fillets into bite sized pieces and add to the mac before serving.
